Little Accidents around the house

Our lovely Maggie, 3 1/2 years old, has now had three accidents in our apartment in the last three days. Once on our couch (I was NOT happy), once after dinner and again in the middle of the night. We walk her three-four times a day (morning, lunch, after work and bedtime) and monitor her water consumption. I don't know what to do!!!!!

First of all, take her to the vet to rule out any medical problems. Is she spayed? Is she purposely urinating, or is she "leaking"? Post-spay leaking is very common and can be managed.

I agree with Julie. It could be a medical problem since it is happening so suddenly and without explanation in an older dog who has been having no problems.

I had replied to Julie a little earlier and told her we were just at the vet a week ago and everything was perfect. A part of me thinks she is doing it for attention, but I have to remember that she is a dog and not human (although with her attitude, you would have to second guess that one!)

Ours is Maggie Mae too... originally from Jersey City!
