Boxer Pal
Does anyone have experience with raising 2 puppies together? We have a male and a female, this is the only combo the breeder would allow of course.
They are 9 1/2 weeks and full of spunk!
Play:
They mouth fight and play growl all of the time, how much is ok? Right now we let them wrestle until it gets pretty rough, like biting with shaking their heads and yelping, then we say "play nice" and put them in their crates, which suprised as I was, they love the x-pen and we fold in so that it forms 2 separate areas when they have a 3 minute "time-out".
Eating:
The other question is eating, should I let them eat together? They have been sharing a big bowl since when I fed them in 2 bowls, they would both go to the others bowl anyway. I read that you should never feed dogs together, I knew this with older dogs, but what about pups?
P.S. They love the Chicken Soup Puppy formula.
Training:
We are going to begin a puppy kindergarten class tonight and we have already clicker trained them to "sit" and "outside". They are both way more willing than my other Boxer that we trained 5 years ago, maybe because they have each other, or maybe it's because we are using cooked/dried turkey hotdogs and Goberlicious treats instead of crunchy treats too. Should I clicker train them together or separate?
All advice is welcomed.
