Okay here goes. My little Trooper is going to be 5 in August. He has had an ongoing problem for quite some time with limping. I have been to different vets and spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars to find out nothing:( He has had xrays wich showed perfect hips and knees and the vet said at the edge of the xray there seemed to be some "fusing" of a few of the discs in jis back and that it may be arthritis that is pinching a nerve and causing the limping on and off. So we put him on Deramaxx which worked wonders for a few days but then right back to tthe same problem. Now he wont take the Duramaxx easily, I think it makes him feel sick. The problem seems to move from leg to leg, mostly hind legs. Lately it seems to be more of the left rear one. So here is the newest problem. Yesterday morning he was limping on the reare left leg like usual nowadays, and also on the front right leg!!! He could barely walk. So I kept him calm yesterday and this morning he got up and his front paw is swollen and hard, like he broke something. Problem is, if it where arthritis in his back it would not affect the front, and it should not be swollen. This is the same as his back legs now. I also noticed that when he gets bad like this he will stand on his toes, like a ballerina. It looks horribly painful like he is all cramped in the foot. Well anyways I guess Ill be off to the vet again this week and see what else can be done, but I would like any feedback from anybody that may have experienced the same thing. I am getting so frutrated that the vets cant find the problem!!!! Thanks everybody
