Lighter hair on shoulders

It almost looks like angel wings. Both of my fawn pups have it. I was wondering if it's normal or what causes it? Is it just random and based on genetics? We don't show nor do we plan to, but would it disqualify a dog from showing?

Just curious.

I dont know about the if it will disqualify for showing but my male fawn has it too. He didnt when we first got him but it started changing at about 3 months.

Dino, who is brindle, also has lighter hair/fur on his shoulders.

Both of our flashy fawns have the lighter hair on their shoulders also. I joke when they are being mischievous that one day while they are begging for forgiveness that their wings will suddenly appear from those spots!!

Both of my fawns have the lighter shoulders. It actually extends quite a bit......looks like they have a bit of a stripe down the center of their backs with lighter fur on the sides.
