Does anyone else's baby constantly lick at nothing??I think Sasha had a thing for cigarrette smoke when we lived in the pub and now all she does is lick the air - when she look sta you she just starts licking whether she is touching you or not. If she can get to you then all she wants to do is lick your face.
She sits at the side of the couch by my dad and he will completely ignore her but she licks and licks and licks. My sister thought there was somehting wrong with her coz when she had her in the car bringing her home one day she sat for 20 minutes licking the air between my sister and herself!! Is this bizarre or does anyone else have this starnge behaviour!? Hilarious to see though!!

Buster does the same thing! Just this morning, she hopped into bed with my husband and me and started licking us both on our faces. After a few licks, we'd had enough and tried to redirect her away from our faces, and she was more than happy to continue licking the pillow, sheets, air, etc. before finally going back to sleep.

My husband and I both act aggravated when she gets like this, but really it's pretty hilarious, so we get a good laugh out of it too!

Roscoe does this whenever he gets excited. If he is around anyone but us he will do this for hours before he finally settles down. It's like he wants to lick you but he knows he cant, so he just tilts his head back at licks at the air, while beaning around the room. He's such a dork! :D

Peaches doesnt' lick the air, the lab, Sadie does..usually when she wants the cigarette smoke..its too funny..and since I have quit..Sadie will sit closer to DH when he's smoking...

Lickers

Rock is a licker too, if he cant lick your face he will try for your hand, if that fails he will lick his dog bed or fresh air. Hilarious when he licks hubby's bald head like a giant lipop.

I'm so glad I read this as Zeb does this too when he's excited. Dh will say Zeb's air licking again. Lola & Casper don't so it and we wondered why he did it Glad he's not the only one.
