Cleo will be 1 on March 2. She just now is being left out. She did have a potty accident today but everyone makes mistakes.

Koa is 7 1/2 months & I can't leave him alone at all! I hope someday I will be able too, but he still likes to poop & pee in the house. foolicon
When I had Chewy ( Chow ) we could leave him in the house for 8 hrs & he NEVER had a accident. Your lucky with your baby. appicon

Zeus

Zeus is usually crated,he's 5 months, while we're gone, but lately,if we're only gone for less than 30 min., we'll let him roam with Randy our Rott/Sheperd in the house but he's usually sleeping on the couch when we come back!

i was just wondering what age you let your dog start to rome the house while at work, or maybe you dont at all...my dog has been roaming for a few days now...shes 7 months old and so far no accidents or nothing chewed up!

Samantha has had free roam of the house since she was 5 months old and she is now 7 months old and has NEVER destroyed one single thing. Before 5 months we kept her gated in the hallway and the kitchen with alot of her toys and her bed and she was still just wonderful. :)

We let Falko roam the house with a watchful eye, rather 5 sets of eyes including my family. If we leave for a short time we let him have the run of house but any longer than a few hours we have to crate him.

My girl is going to be 2 in June and I cant leave her out of her crate. She will chew anything she can find. I have heard a lot of people have to keep them crated until they are at least 2 so I am hoping soon I can let her be free.
