I actually use Tyson and Five for alarm clocks for my son. He is a bear to get up in the morning unless he has 85 lb. Tyson standing on his chest giving him the ol' tongue in the ear. When we can sleep in they are the laziest two on the planet....ok by me.

Sleep? I can't remember that :) We are up @ 5a.m when hubby gets ready for work,I can't even go potty until 4 have had a run outside, so I stand there dancing foot to foot wackicon until it's MY turn :) It's the same on the weekends..up early, outside, breakfast and let the insanity begin !!! Life sure would be dull without our boxer babies in it lovicon

OMG Sue, that's me too! I have to get up precisely at 5:30 am no matter what day it is and downstairs to take the dogs out. I sit there having to go myself and waiting...and waiting....first Cleo will sniff the air, then walk around, then sniff some more - you get the idea! Jake is staight out to pee but Cleo is a slow poke! Well once my little King and Queen are all set outside, I MUST pet them and give them some loving before I head off to the bathroom or I too get that famous Boxer stare!! LOL Gotta love em. Karen

Well I usually get up between 3 and 3:30am so I wanted to sleep in!! Usually she falls asleep with me but not today. She's napping right now, after we went for a 2 mile walk.

Your sleeping in days are OVER! Willis is good about coming back to bed, but when it's time to go out I either get yelled at (if he's in his crate) or jumped on (if he's out). And that means NOW. Not 2 minutes from now, or he threatens to eat my socks.

They know. . .

All throughout my work week I have to literally drag my two out of bed. They just innately know when it is the weekend or even if I have a Friday off, because they will not let me sleep and will whine until I take them out for a walk, or a playfest in the backyard. Too smart!!

Lucky Me

Geez...looks like I lucked out on this one. Sirus is a dream! He will sleep with me for as long as I'm asleep. It's fabulous...especially when you're not feeling well, like me lately! He knows when Mommy goes to bed it's seepy-time for Sirus too and he won't wake me up unless it's a potty emergency...

My Kira is the exact oposite.....she is a lazy girl to no end! I have to wrestle to get her out of bed in the morning to go potty! It is great on the weekends because I can sleep as long as I want, and as long is she is curled up with me she will sleep forever! But the weekedays...yikes not a morning dog. I litterally have to pick up her mid section to even to get her to move, and then I get the death stare with sigh like "Leave me alone woman, can't you see I am sleeping " and I still have to poke at her some more to get her up! It is wild. And I thought I wasn't a morning person!

We are so not morning people. My BF leaves for work between 8-9 and I usually sleep til around noon. If I don't get up to let him out when Danny leaves for work he will just not go for like 12 hours. I usually let him out around midnite or 1 when I go to bed but even then I have to wake him to send him outside. I came down stairs yesterday morning and he was dead to the world on the couch. I don't think he even heard me. I ended up having to take away the blanket he was laying on (pulled it out from under him) and if I hadn't been quick he would have layed back down. He goes out and is done in seconds and quickly back to sleep. It's great cause he likes to sleep. Cause I am definetly not a morning person.
