:( left leg limping

Hey all my baby is hurt. We went to the park to play with my neighbors dog and i noticed on our nightly walk that he was limping. He did do some hard romping with his beagle friend. I've done a search on the limp threads and i hope its just a sprain or something simple. I'd hate for Brutus to be sick at this age (13 wks). I've touched all along that leg and no signs of pain what so ever. Anyways we are off to the vet tomorow afternoon. I just don't know what to do to comfort him, it just breaks my heart to see my baby limping. I wish they made some puppy tylenol or motrin to at least make him a little comfortable. I hate to see my little Brutai in such pain.

My 5 year old Boxer did the same thing.. He was playing in our backyard with our other Boxer and he came back inside limping with no signs of trama or anything.. He didn't react to me moving/stretching/prodding/poking his leg/foot.. So we had intentions of going to the vet in a day or two if it didn't heal and sure enough the next morning, It was like he never even was 'hurt'.

Hopefully this is the case with your little guy. I'm sure he'll be ok.

Occasionally, after Samson has been running a lot, he will be sore in his back left leg. We had him at the vets and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. After a few days, he is usually back to normal.

I hope you get good news about your boxer!!

My baby is okay!

The vet says not to worry and that he has a sprain and it should heal with rest in a couple days. What a relief!
