Leaving Sindee for the first time....

Hi. I had to leave Sindee and my youngest son with my mother (at our house) while my daughter had surgery. Sindee would get up three times a night and go outside but would not go potty. When I am home she sleeps in her crate from 10pm until 6 am. I have to leave in two weeks for a week and my mom will be home with my kids and Sindee. Is there something I can do to help Sindee sleep thru the night while I am gone, so my Mom can get some rest? Is Sindee just missing me? I had my mom stay here so I would not have to but Sindee in a Kennel.

How long did you leave her the first time? it may just take her some time to adjust to her mommy not being there.

I was gone from Wed evening until Saturday afternoon. My first night back home Sindee slept all night and has been sleeping all night since.
I hope she will sleep all night while I am gone next week. I would hate for my Mom to be tired the whole week.
