My family and I are leaving for one week and will be leaving Lilly with my best friend/dog lover while we are gone. I have no doubt that Lilly will be taken very good care of and that doesnt worry me a bit.What does worry me is that in that week she will have forgotten everything that I have taught her (we have come leaps and bounds in the last 2 weeks) and I guess I even worry that she will forget me too. We have had her since Mothers Day and she is 13 weeks old. Am I just being paranoid or do I have a legitamate worry here? I dread the day that I have to walk away from her for a week, but after considering taking her with us I decided that it would be worse for her to be stuck in her crate all day in a strange house all alone while her people were out playing than if I just leave her with a trusted friend that will cater to her every whim! Any advice or words of wisdom? Thanks!
