leaving Bea with a sitter

I wasn't sure where I should post this.. We have to leave Bea for almost a week over the holidays. Thankfully, friends of my sister offered to doggie-sit for us so she will be staying with a nice friendly family rather than in a kennel. I have been trying to write up a note to give them telling them everything about caring for her and living with her. I will also get to talk with them, of course, but I know from times that I have babysat or housesat that often having the details on paper is the best reminder. Anyway, so far I have notes on her food (what she eats, how many times, things to avoid, etc..), exercise, discipline (basically, that we don't use physical punishment but we do squirt her with a water bottle or give her a "time out" when she's really bad), her likes and dislikes, some notes on her "strange behaviors" (e.g., boxer burns, loud gas), and her reliable recall command. I don't think I'm forgetting anything but figured other boxer owners might have some advice. Have you ever left your dog with someone else? Was there something you wished you'd told them about your pup but forgot?

Aww-poor Bea's mum :( She'll probably have a grand time but mom will be missing her bunches I hated to leave my kids at all, still do. But my folks had Pooh,this was back when I only had her. I called home ALL the time
Anyhow,be sure to leave your vet's # ,I posted that at the top of my list-just in case.
I'm sure Bea will do just fine and just think of the happy,happy return

Hmmmm...I always make a big deal to let the dog sitter know exercise an hour before and an hour after meals should be restricted, including playing/wrestling. Don't want to have a bloat "accident" while you are out of town or ever, for that matter!

How about going outside information? Does the house have a yard, or will they be walking her? How does she tell them she needs to go outside? Any special thing to say (I use "go outside") instead of "Go potty or poo" to tell the dog it's time to do their business?
