Jasmine is 6 months old and we've had her since she was 13 weeks old. She has been on a leash since. We live on the 2nd floor and taking her outside is almost impossible for me. She already has so much strength she will pull me down the stairs if I do not hold on very tightly to her and the rails. She must go down the stairs on the right side and I have to keep the leash about 4 ft long so she doesn't have time to take off and pull me down the bottom half of the stairs. Its quite a funny site. So, my question is, how do I teach her to stop pulling and to walk next to me?

Also, when we're outside and neighbors walk by, she goes crazy and wants to jump on them and is so excited to see them. They don't seem to mind it since they all have dogs to that are extremely wild but I don't want her to do that. I would like to take her to PetSmart one day and her be calm.

When she is at the vet, she is extremely excited when she sees the other animals but last time she was there, they kept her for the day for me, and said she raised her hair on her back when she saw 2 dogs. How do I keep her from being aggressive towards other animals? We have a ferret but I have yet to let them play together. I'm too scared Jasmine will try to eat Jersey.

I think a basic obedience class would help you and Jasmine. She will learn to listen to you when there are other people and dogs around.

Thanks! I thought about that! Now if I could only find the time to join one in between work, school, and family... haha! I'll have to check into the dates and times for that...
