Learning HTML

I am so excited. In my class right now we are learning HTML coding and I like it! I can sit and do this all day.

Are there any websites out there that have tons of information (free) that I could use or reference. I am learning how to format the pages and use tables...I still want to learn how to tab. Anyone know how?

I have determined that tables drive me insane.

I have a problem and I hope someone can help me. I created a table and inserted my resume (per the instructors request) and ended the table, then I created buttons to link the other pages and the buttons keep coming out on the right of the table.

I would like them to be at the bottom....HELP!!!! :(

You can try inserting a <br> at the end of the table and before the button.

or

<p align="center"> "button info here"</p> (this would center the button under the table)

I finally got it. Had to start over in that section. Things are funny sometimes.


OK. Another question.

I understand that fonts have to be universal on the web. And I would like to have fun fonts for headings and such.

If I create buttons or logos with cute fonts and save them as JPG or GIF will they show up universally or will they change back to Times New Roman?

This has got to be my favorite class EVER!!!

I am so hyped about learning html and can't wait to set up my own web pages. I wish I could show my friends here at BW what I have done so far.

I have been showing everyone who will see it at work. I wonder if SBC DSL has space for personal web pages?
