Lady is HOME!!!!

We found her! We found her!

Yesterday we went down to the shelter, and no she wasn't there. But they have this book of logges lost/found pets. We'll I've checked it dozens of times, and no luck. I almost didn't check, but I did.

Sure enough there it was, "11/29, female boxer, rust colored........" I called and it was Lady! A dog groomer found her, just after she got out. We had to wait all day long to pick her up but sure enough she is finally home, after a VERY LONG week.

I think the family that had her was planning on keeping her. They didn't put an add in the paper, and didn't bother checking the paper for my add. No posters up in the shelters, nothing. She took Lady to get all her vaccinations, and also had her groomed. She seems like a groomers, not like herself at all.

Anyhow, the lady cried when we left. I tried to feel bad, really I tried.....but I was just too happy to have my Lady back! Hip Hip Horray!

Just thought I would update to let you all know. Thanks for all your kind words and preys, looks like int he long run they all paid off!

I read and followed your post about her every time I signed on to BW hoping to see a message like this. Both of you were in my thoughts!! I'm just so happy she's finally home where she belongs!! You must be sooo relieved!!

I am so overjoyed! This is the best news in the world! I have been worrying and preaying for Lady every night, I knew this post was coming, I knew she'd be home soon!
Just goes to show the greatness of God.
And I know what you mean, when we went to get Tuppence from the lady who stole her I tried to feel compassion for the crying woman, it was impoosible.
Now I have to go tell the family she's back! We're all very happy for you! Give her an extra kiss for us!

Oh thank the Lord she is home. I am so happy for you. I know what you were going thru.
In August one of my Pugs got out of my backyard with his sister. She was found that night but my poor Otis wasn't. He ran from the guy that took in his sister.
Otis was hit by a car and never came back to me. :( A kind lady took him to the doggie ER .
I was really saying the prayers for your Ladys' safe return. Please give her a hug for me.
