Some more good news!

Owen has maintained his red blood cell count in the high fourty's! This means that we dropped his does again and will have him re-tested after Christmas.

If hsi blood comes back normal after Christmas than we get to stop the steroids all together!!!!!

What a great Christmas gift that would be!

He has been such a little trooper the whole time and is SO good at letting the vet staff take his blood every two weeks :)

I will give you guys another update when I know something.

Thanks again to you all for you support and kind words, you have REALLY been amazing.

Sounds like the improvement in Owen's blood count over the last few months makes this a much brighter holiday season. It seems that Owen's progress is a wonderful Christmas gift.

Now, if his next count is normal after Christmas, that will be a great way to start a new year.

It has been a long haul. Hopefully the blood problems are history.

It has been a GREAT start to the new year - Owen is officially off his steroids! His last does was on December 28th. We will go in again next week for a blood test to see where he is - my fingers are crossed that all is OK.

It has been a very long and bumpy journey over the past months, I really couldn't have done it without the support of you guys. Thanks again for everything.

I will post with one last update after our appointment next week.
