I put peanut butter in the boys' kongs. You should see the drool that hits the floor while I'm stuffing the PB in. LOL

They will each work on one and then trade and work on the other to make sure no peanut butter goes unlicked!!

One time I put some cookie pieces in the kong too and put peanut butter at both ends to keep the pieces in. They loved that as well.

I give Shelby Kong toys all the time. I will sometimes put peanut butter in it and sometimes I cut up parts of these long roles of soft dog food that I use for treats and put that in it. She loves it. That will keep her busy for hours.

Yes, Yes, Yes...We use the Kong's all the time..I fill them with Peanutbutter, YOugurt, Cottage cheese and treats, I also freeze them..Oh yeah pudding too!!! We use them in the crates and when at home when we are outside , and our dogs can't be out with us.(trimming the law, raking the lawn, etc.) Anytime we can not keep a eye on them, we use them to occupy the pups.
Also when home and I can watch them I give them frozen marrow bones, cow hoofs & pig ears..When they chew the marow out I do refill it with other stuff and freeze it as well.

I just bought Roxy a kong and it's made a great training aid for the crate. I fill it with peanut butter and show it to her and she just follows it into her crate. It's gotten to the point now where she sees me get the kong and peanut butter and just waits by her crate whereas before she would run and hide under the bed. And it keeps her busy in the crate for a while after I'm gone so she doesn't think about being alone so much. Another advantage is that since it's very durable it'll last her a long time. They're not easy to chew up. She loves to throw hers around and bat it around the floor. It's probably one of the best toys I've bought her. I definitely recommend getting one!

Yep - Brando has a Kong too - his is bone shaped and he loves it.

Also one of the local cat and dog shelters where we live use Kongs. Since introducing them they've had more people taking rescue and dogs from them.

When people used to visit, the dogs would all bark and jump around, putting some folks off, but since they've had Kongs they're all too busy trying to get their food out of them to be bothered about anyone else who might be there!

Hailey loves her Kong, she takes it with her everywhere. We fill it with peanut butter and a couple treats. There is also some stuff that is sold by the makers of the Kong as a filling. We have never used it as the peanut butter works wonders. We also have one that is attached to a rope and she loves chasing that at the park. They seem to be indestructable.

Our kids have a Kong each I get the super heavy duty variety.

Ruben also has a Water Kong - it is his most favourite thing in Summer. Unfortunatley at least once every summer I have to wade out fully clothed to retrieve it if he can not find it and the tide carries it out :p I usually swim with the dogs but sometimes I stop at the beach on the spur of the moment and it's only these times the Kong heads out into the deep ocean :rolleyes:

Dillon loves his kong. I fill it with peanut butter or treats and it keeps him occupied for awhile. After he is done getting the treats out of it he likes to throw it in the air and run after it. I also have the kong on a rope that we play tug of war with. Great toys to have.
