know anyone who needs chicken necks in MA?

We bought 40 lbs of raw, frozen necks just last week. We unexpectedly had to put our dog down today. I would hate to see the food go to waste - anyone have any ideas?

I am so sorry you had to put your dog down. :( You could try posting on the one of the Yahoo raw feeding groups for your area. I am sure that someone would be quite happy to take them off your hands.

There is a RAW group part of the Yahoo RAW group called NERFS that I belong to. We would take them off your hands if you go there - I'm in RI. We just got our huge freezer set up and I'm trying to fill it.

jenn you don't think you will have any more dogs in your life. the food is good for a year in the freezer if you change your mind. I know it is hard to even think about another dog but maybe in a few months.

We ended up giving all of the food to a woman who just adopted a rescued shephard who has been brought up on raw. So, it worked out well. No dogs for us for a while - we will have a newborn in the house in January. However we definitely want her to grow up with dogs...maybe after she's out of diapers.
