Keno is now 14 mos old!! ? for everyone...

Ok, so our baby turned a year old in May! Ofcourse we still consider him our baby & probably always will even when he's old & gray, but I have a question for those of you who have 1+ yr old males. When will Keno likely start filling out more? He is still eating Canidae (from very early on), which we free-feed, but we know that he eats about 2-3 C. a day usually. He weighs 60 lbs and it seems like he hasn't gained in months (he's been 60 lbs for quite some time now). I mean, he looks great--he's happy & healthy so it definatly wouldn't be the end of the world if he never gained another pound and actually "filled out", but we see so many other male boxers who have filled out so we're kinda curious as to when we can expect that to happen for Keno. From what I always read on here they usually start to fill out more once they turn a yr old.

Champ is one year old today and looks just like Keno. He has been 55 lbs. for the past several months. I will also be interested to see when they fill out, what people say. We also free feed Champ, he averages 3 cups a day of science diet (we tried Eukanuba and he wouldn't eat it, so our vet told us to give hime science diet). I would be worried, but our vet always says how healthy and strong he looks!

My guys all started to fill out between 1 and 2 years of age, but didn't really start to look all that full till about 2. Don't worry about it, since our boxers are naturally lean dogs. With their high energy level it's sometimes difficult to keep the weight on. Keno's still a growing boy, and has plenty of time to put on some weight and muscle!

Spud looks exactly like Keno and he's now 3. I sometimes worry if he's filled out enough but our vet reckons he's about right.

Beau turned one in February. He weighs about 60lbs. but he is extremely tall. He's a very lanky fellow. I'm still waiting for him to fill out so people don't think I starve him. I think all boxers fill out at a different rate. I've seen several around Beau's age that are much thicker than he is. No matter how much he eats, he still seems to keep his girlish figure!
