Kennel Training!

I got my two boxers yesterday they are 8 weeks old. I bought two kennels for them with a divider. Last night was not two bad but I know I made a mistake with them. They feel asleep about 945 then they woke up about 1145 so I let them outside then they were playing around with each other till about 1230-1245am. I think told them them "bed" and took them to their kennels. Then they woke up about 330am and I let them outside again then they wanted to play again and this is where I went bad...I scooped them up and let them lay with me in bed..ugh I know that is a NO-NO. I would not allow them to play I made them lay. Then when I got up a 630 I took them right outside till I got my shower. My question is when I left for work I put them on the food/water side of their kennels should I have left a small amount of food/water for them? I dont get home till 330 everyday and I did not want them to go that long without anything.

Hi there. What time do you leave for work? Little ones like them really need to go out every couple of hours. I think the first thing is to make sure they have a good schedule for potty training.

I leave for work at 7:10. I was very proud of my babies today when I got home they had no issues. I was expecting to come home to a mess but that did not happen. They were laying quitely in their kennels.
