Just a suggestion that I got from my breeder who also does rescue and see's tons of kennel cough. She told me to use "Mrs. Whites Liquid Blueing" (yes, the laundry stuff) and add just a drop or two to their water bowl (until it turns a nice sky blue). In a few days cough is gone! I have used this myself when Joe had KC and it worked! (If you read on the bottle or go to their web site it does say for pets on there!).
