Hello All-
Can I get some opinions on things that have worked for during the day that keeps your puppies occupied and happy. I was going to purchase one of those Snugglepuppies, that has the heartbeat and heatpack to try to make her more comfortable during the day. Has anybody had any experience with these?

I never heard of the snuggelpuppy, sounds interesting! - make sure it's puppy proof though, espacially if you give it to your pup unsupervised.

When Lennox is home alone and in his crate he always gets a few treats to snack on, a peanut butter stuffed & frozen kong, a bowl of water and sometimes his favorite toy (whatever that is that given day!) :)
If we leave him only for like an hour I usually just give him a treat and that's it.

Whenever I can sneak in to see what he's doing before actually making it known that I'm back home he's usually sound asleep.

Good Luck!

my boys LOVE squeaky toys. Spud has a stuffed animal that he drags around everywhere. I am always finding it on the couch, or on my bed. He cant even jump on my bed yet, so I guess he just places it up there and then leaves lovicon

I would worry about leaving certain things with them when they are alone though. Stuffed animals, if they can rip them up. Bones, they might choke..

I give Spud his "baby" in the crate. He doesnt tear the stuffed animals up, so I figure it is okay. He is in there too long to not give him anything at all.

I usually give Harley a ball or something. He is locked in the laundry room and he loves to play with balls.

They never get bones unsupervised

I would not leave anything in the crate that they can rip up, destroy, eat or harm themselves unless they are supervised.

A few hard non-destroyalbe toys (ie rubber kong) and a towel or simple blanket. Make sure you take the collar off too in the crate.

They generally sleep all day or are suppoosed to ;)

The only thing i leave in my kids crates are pillow, blanket, water and once in a while a kong. I dont like to leave toys cuz they may rip something off of it and choke on it. Thats my biggest fear. Whenever i get home they are always sleeping. Once in a while i will find Harlies blanket pulled to Choppers side. Little Booger.
