Both my boys had acne really bad!! once they were fixed it went away.
Arley still gets a few bumps here and there but it is because of ingrown hairs on his chin from chewing on something for a while and having a wet face all the time. I just make sure that I always keep his face/chin clean and dry.
and from what I have seen it can be pretty common with boxers.

Good luck

When we frist noticed bumps on Camis chin I took her to the vet. Same diagnosis, acne. It was a mild case and antibiotics were suggested by I opted to not use them.

I starting taking a small pin and actually popping the pimples and squeezing them (I know gross), and then applying peroxide and then neosporin. After they cleared up I started cleaning her face off after all of her meals. She hasn't had any since. Also I have heard that plastic food bowls can add to the problem.

Adolescent boxers often get acne. It doesn't usally require antbiotics. The best thing is to just wash the face off after eating. I really can't remember how long it lasted. Please make sure that your dog is not eating out of plastic bowls as they harbour bacteria. Use stainless steel or ceramic.

Yep - Brando had acne too when he was a little bit older than that though - maybe 9-10 months old.

We took him to the vets, who said we could have antibiotics if we wanted to help clear it up - but as long as we kept his face clean and were using stainless steel bowls etc, it would just go away on its own.

We didn't bother with the antibiotics and it eventually cleared up.
