Yawning

...very much like the yawning when they are nervous.....

REALLY! I am a singer, and can't stop yawning before I go on stage! I must be part boxer.

Nissa, on the other hand, does the mini-sneeze thing when she is excited - she always does it on the way out the door for a walk!

ABBY snorts when she gets excited. Especially when there is somebody at the door or someone is walking down the street.

Lily sneezes all the time when she is excited. They nearly always follow a woo. It goes woooooooAHHCHOO wooowooowooooAHHCHOO

Then when she goes outside in the mornings and takes a big whiff of fresh air she goes snnnnnniiifffffAHHCHOO :D

And theres just the random kidney beaning where she snots all over you, follwed by a good sneeze (just incase she didnt get it all over you the first time) :)

Both my boys will sometimes sneeze when they are really excited after we get home. Tank actually did this today when I got home from as well as wiggling and the hundreds of licks i got.

Both my boys do the sneeze thing when they are excited to.

But speaking of the sneezing thing, how many of your walls have to be washed on a regular basis because of all the boxer boogies that get sprayed everywhere when they sneeze because lord knows they don't have good aim when they do it...like say into a tissue. I have noticed though when Champ gets a runny nose I can put a tissue up to his nose and tell him to blow and he will sneeze /blow in the tissue. It's truely like teaching a kid to blow their nose. People think I'm nuts when they see me putting a tissue up to my dogs nose and telling him to "blow your nose for mommy".

Duke sneezes when he wants another dog to play with him or chase him. He always does this when he initiates a game of chase with Duchess. I am not so sure of the significance but it sure is cute!!!

Gnarly sneezes as soon as he lays on his back... I have seen numerous dogs do this.... not just boxers... wonder what is it. But can't really say he sneezes when he is excited... only when he is excitably playing on his back!
