...sneeze when they get excited. Thumper is the only one of our four that does, and it is so cute. ~ Cathy

Chancey doesn't but I have had others who did....the facial expressions are priceless but its not so cute when they actually have something to sneeze out and share-ugh.

Yes!

My old boxer Doc (passed a yr ago) used to sneeze alot, so we started giving him treats when he sneezed and actually trained him to sneeze on command...It was hilarious! People thought we were insane when we told them that he could sneeze on command...:)

My new baby boxer Scooter is only 11 wks, but he sneezes alot when he is on his back.

Yes..

Blizzy would sneeze when excited.

I seem to recall hearing that sometimes sneezing (as well as yawning) was a sign that the dog was upset/scared/excited etc.

Oh yes, Millie sneezes and snots everywhere, when she gets excited, which come to thnk of it is all the time, from the time she wakes up, and has to go round bent double greeting everyone in the morning, (after all, she hasn't seen us all night!)...She snots all over the poor postman, and anyone else that might pass our way during the day! :)

I wouldn't call it a full "Sneeze", but Brandi does this little mini-sneeze.... thing.... when excited. She'll briefly try and wag her little nub of a tail, fail and then bend in half and start that mini-sneeze. It's quite honestly cute as can be. :)

Most of our friends tell Indy they can deal with the hugs but the sneezing/snorting in their face is a little too much.

I have heard this too, I think it is a submissive thing, very much like the yawning when they are nervous.....

or course, sometimes its just to blow their boxer boogies all over you! LOL
