Not silly.
If you've ever been around a happy Boxer, they sort of curl their body into a "C" or bean shape. This is done while wagging their bottom off and trying to get up to your face, also known as "spronging".
But it's the joyous curving of their body when happy that is "the kidneybean".

Hi and welcome to BW....good luck in your puppy search. My advice would be to make sure you find a reputable breeder. Kidney beanin' is the funnies thing ever...when Roxi gets excited or I come home she kind of comes at me bum first and twists her body in the shape of a kidney bean and starts to wiggle!! I look forward to it every single day....

I agree with the puppy will pick you idea. Call around and check out a few litters. You will know when you find the one you want. I would also say that you get what you pay for, but that isn't true since I didn't pay a huge amount for my boxer and I get tons of compliments from breeders and trainers. However, that is sometimes a good first impression of what the future might hold.
