Just like Goldfish - time wasters

Does anyone else waste a lot of time Boxer watching? If the Boxers are napping I stop and look at them because they are so cute, if they are playing I watch as they are so funny, if they are walking around the yard I watch to see what they are up too, if they are on alert I watch as they look so regal....any excuse really Maybe I need a life?

It took me ages to do the dishes this morning as I kept looking out the window to see just how deep Bella could dig her latest tunnel in the sand, and the others were snoozing in the morning sun so of course they needed me to give them tummy rubs :rolleyes:

Boxer Watching

I thought I was the only one who did that. Since my 2 rescues have come into the family, my productivity has gone right downhill !!!

If I'm not watching to see what cute thing they are doing, I'm taking digital photos of what they are doing or I'm watching to make sure their playing does not get too rough. Of course the rest of the time I'm ... cleaning up their doggie slobber ... buying them toys ... playing with them ... walking them ... and going to work only enough to keep them in the style which they have very quickly become accustomed to.

What did I ever do without them ?!?! :D

Krikkit, any time spent watching, playing or working our boxers is definately NOT a waste!!!

I read somewhere that time is never wasted, if you have enjoyed yourself.

When I have a litter of pups I can spend the majoritory of the day and night, just watching them in total awe! lovicon


My husband gets sick of hearing about the boxers, my friends all think I have gone to the dogs and my kids know the quickest way to my heart is through the boxers!!!

PS: What life outside of Boxers????? :confused:

That's not called a waste of time, that's called stress reduction.

I am amazed at how gorgeous these dogs are. One day, I watched Cindy curled up sleeping in her crate for 10 minutes. Just beautiful.

They have proven that pet owners have less stress, and this leads to healthier lives. I don't know about all that, but I do know spending time with the boxers playing, and just watching them is alot of fun. If I had a dollar for every time during the day they make me laugh, or amaze me again, I would be rich. I can't even remember how it was before they came into my life.

Count me in as a 'Boxer Watcher' - every time I pass them, even if they are fast asleep, I can't resist a rub and a kiss!! BTW that's Bronte with my daughter in the background on the avitar, still trying to figure out how to get a picture of Ttakas on too - any help would be appreciated.

watching my girls sleeping is one of my most joyous, relaxing and wonderful times. One of my very favorite activities. And watching them run and chase each other is another favorite pastime of mine. It is a wonder I get anything at all done around here. But it sure beats cleaning !! :D

We were doing that last night. We were sitting inside and all of a sudden it got quiet-and you know what that usually means! We looked outside and they were playing nicely and wrestling like angels . They were so cut I just had to sit and keep watching them
