Just had to take Rocky to the vet.

I just talked with the vet. She said she thinks it was a spider bite. I had thought that might be it as well since he hadn't gotten into anything. She gave him a shot and is sending him home with a few more doses of antihistamine. I get to pick him up in about an hour. So glad my boy is alright.

Thanks guys! He had some hives this morning still, but his face is back to normal and the hives seem to be going away slowly. He's acting like his usual self and he is due for another dose of antihistamne in about 4 hours. I had quite a scare. Rocky says thanks for the well wishes!

Buster had something very similar happen to him but he fainted when i took him to the vet they gave him a shot of penicilan and gaveme some pills for him. It hasent happened since.

I already had a strong dislike for spiders, but I think I hate them now, too, for messing with my Rocky! Haha.

I am so happy that Rocky is doing better. Oh, how I despise spiders and my daughter Nicole is just as bad or worse. I think I have a phobia of them. And they say a spider won't hurt you!!! Gee, it gives me the willies. Rocky you stay away from those nasty things.

When Abby was puppy her face ,neck and ears started swelling up. I rushed her to the vets and he said she had been bit by a spider. It was so scary. I'm so glad to hear Rocky is feeling better.
