I don't imagine that gummy bears will do serious harm, though hopefully he will throw up. You could phone your vet and see what he suggests. You could encourage him to throw up by giving him hydrogen peroxide, a tablespoon at time. Two to three will usually do the trick.

Dots

Deuce got into a huge box of Dots and ate the entire thing. I was amazed because they didn't make him the least bit sick. I wish I could've seen him trying to get them out of his teeth!

20 oz mocha latte'

Magic drank an entire 20 oz mocha latte when I left it unattended in the car. She looked like me after I drank my first mocha latte...she had a big grin on her face and charged around the yard for about two hours. It really scared me but she pulled out of it. I could leave meat, groceries, and left over food items in the car; she would not touch them. If I accidentally left a mocha latte she’d devour it.

I know this is gonna sound horrible. When Oscar was a baby he got into an easter basket of mine and ate a whole solid chocolate bunny. Thank the heaven's above that nothing happened to him, I couldn't imagine how I would have felt had something happened to the poor guy. Which brings up a question, why do you suppose he never got sick? Isn't chocolate toxic? Is he less likely to get sick as a puppy? Anyway, I found it interesting and lucky that he never got sick on the chocolate. I'm glad to hear your pup is ok. It's a funny thought, him in a puddle of a gummies. Like a kid in a candy shop.

My doofy Diesel likes sour patch kids...

I was eating some once and he was staring at me...he didn't even know what they were. I don't like the orange ones, and I was feeling a little mischeivious, so I gave one to him, thinking he'd hate it and spit it out. Nope! Silly boy chewed it up very thoughtfully, and then sat and drooled for more!

Of course now he thinks that he's entitled to any and all candy that enters the house, so I have to keep it up on top of the fridge.

They are funny, our babies! Ramos is 8 mos. old and will take advantage of any situation and eat anything including celary! He seems especially fond of my two year old daughters goldfish crackers and seems to have a great propensity for seeking them out, no matter where they are hidden. Our house is a fortress when it comes to locking down food, but it is funny how clever they can become about finding and eating the things that are better left to us.
Im glad to hear that your baby was fine after the gummy bear incident.
