That just stinks about your "puppy." We wish you all the best wishes and I hope you will keep us posted on her progress.
Now, I really hate to ask and I doubt I want to know the answer (I have had my Kobe for less than 2 weeks), but what is kidney-beaning? I have seen it mentioned, but of all the traits I have read about, this is the one I fear most.
Enjoy each and every day... and in the immortal words of Don Cornelius, "Peace, Love & Soul."

I too am sorry to hear about Roxys cancer. I had a Rottie who had cancer also and she's waiting at the bridge. I miss her more than words can say. I have fond memories of Babe playing with my two Boxers... I think she thought she was a Boxer! The two Boxers are, Casey who also passed on and Rockie who is still with us. I now have Oscar, Abby and Rockie...she is now 11 years old fawn with a gray mask;) She has more good times than bad but I know the time is coming soon. I wouldn't stop having my fur babies for nothing...they are so different in every way. My memories of the girls that passed and the fun with the new furbabies I have now. Rockie had taught Abby all her tricks so Rockie will live on. My thoughts are with you.

Thanks to you all for all the kind words. It helps to know we'll have lots of friends to talk to who understand. We will definitely get another boxer. I can't imagine our home without one.

Now, as far as kidney-beaning...fear not! I'm sure you've already experienced it. It's when your boxer is so happy that she wiggles her rear around until it's next to her head. Kinda shaped like a kidney bean (or a donut if she makes a complete circle!).
