Just adopted a rescue, is he full Boxer? (pics)

Hi all-

I recently adopted a rescue and was told he was full boxer. After having him out and running into other Boxers I am now not so sure. If you don't mind having a peek, what do you think? It doesn't really matter, I love him dearly, just curious...

Oh, he's just 12 mos old, weighs 75 lbs. and is almost 26 in. at the withers.

What a doll!!!! I'd say your Rocky is 100% boxer! What was it that made you question not? His nose is a little longer, but so is my Cisco's. Checkout my gallery, Cisco does not have the smooshy face that you see on some other boxers.
Congrads on getting him, he's super cute!!! Boxer lovin all the way!

I go back and forth. I thought he looked just like a lot of boxers on here. But, it is the longer nose and his size that always get me. People are always asking if he is part Mastiff. I don't think he's that big, though! :)

I appreciate your response. By the way, your little one is adorable. I just love the flashy faces!

He looks all boxer to me. :) My Ginger does not have a smooshy face like the ideal boxer, but she's still all boxer. ;)

I've seen many other boxers that people say are full that look less boxer than your baby. The nose is a little long, but that doesn't mean that he isn't a boxer, just not a great breeding. The main thing is the personality and the traits. You know a boxer when you see (get run over by) one. :) Gotta love the "burn".

Cisco, looked in your gallery and I love the photo with the tongue out. My Dillon does that too. That's one of my favorite pictures of him as a puppy was when he would sleep with his tongue out. He does it a little still, but just a little bit of the tip of it so you want to play with it while he's sleeping (bad mommy).

He looks 100% Boxer to me. He looks exactly like my Syndey (although he is bigger). She has a longer nose like him (not a great breeding) but the way I see him holding his kong toy looks exactly like what Sydney does. She sits on her stomach w/ both hip bones up in the air (if that makes sense) but that's exactly what he's doing too.

And his facial expressions in one of the photos, like "huh?" w/ his ears forward is exactly what Sydney does too.

He's adorable!!!!! You've got a beautiful boxer boy!

PS - look in my gallery, you'll see a longer nose full boxer girl sitting on her stomach w/ the hips up :)
