I'm dealing with a 4 1/2 month old puppy so I feel your pain! When you get home don't make a fuss over, ignore until she calms down a bit. Get down to her level so she doesn't feel like she needs to jump. If she does start jumping, either turn around or put your knee out so she jumps into it instead of on you. Tell your guests to do the same. Also when you feed her, don't put her food bowl down until she's in a sit position. They learn this one really fast and it helps to teach her if she wants something, she has to work for it. Consistency is key!

Hugo NEEEVER jumps on me... Especially when I get home.

Hes excited but he cans it for the most part and sits down and waits for me to greet him. Strangers however.... Not the case. He still jumps quite a bit but not as much as he used to... Its just hard because there will be someone inevitably that leans over to say high and he launches for a kiss and smacks them in the face with his muzzle.

I've tried working on this and have told him "no jumping" constantly... Works okay but its hard to be proactive about it because usually I cant tell him that until hes already jumped once.

Gotta love the "boxer headbutt!" :P
For Dutch, to train him not to jump on people as they coming in, we have had to mostly train the people. :) We started out by keeping Dutch back out of the way when people were arriving, in fact, I tethered him to the stair banister, and had him sit and "wait", then, when I let him go, I would have people only pet him if he sat nicely. If Dutch was a spaz and was bouncing all over, then we would turn our back on him until he sat down, then he would get his hello's and cuddles. It has taken a lot of consistency, but it works, and now when someone comes to visit, he does the usual boxer kidney bean on the way over to the person, but then he sits and waits to be petted. Unless it is my parents that are at the door......then it is all out chaos, but we have allowed that, so its all good. :)
Anyways, that is what worked for us, basically, if Dutch is jumping and being a turd, then he gets ignored until he settles down, then he gets lavished with praise....."lather, rinse and repeat" as often as necessary until it sinks in. ;)
