My wonderful friend Jullilet has passed on. She was 12 1/2 years old. Julliet had a brain tumor and was walking into walls and getting confused. When I looked at her you could see she was not really there. I put her down today. Gosh I miss her so much. I just want to hold her and hug her. Julliet was such a blessing in my life. She brought so much love, joy and laughter into my life. Now what

Now Juliet is waiting at the bridge, no longer confused but looking down and thanking you for all of the wonderful loving years that she was given by you and for knowing that it was time for her to go and letting her go with her dignity.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry for your loss of Juliet. Now you have all those wonderful memories you shared for 12 1/2 years. I know your hurting so very much right now, but in time you will feel better. I know your Juliet is with good friends at the bridge... one of them being my goofy ole boy Loki. ((((HUGS))))

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I too lost a boxer to a brain tumor (4 years old), so I know exactly the 'look' you are talking about.

Take the time to cry, and remember the good times you two shared together. 12 1/2 years is WONDERFUL.

Julliet us now up there looking down happily at you, she wants you to be happy too.

This is a great forum to chat about your feelings, we have all been through the loss of a pet (unfortunately that's a thread that binds us all).

I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though it hurts to have to make the decision you did, it was the right thing to do. I recently had to do the same for my 12 1/2 yr. old lab mix, Pepper. I miss her terribly! I also just got a boxer from a rescue organization, so he is taking up my time now and giving me lots of laughs!

Maybe when the time is right, you will adopt another companion to love and care for.

I am so sorry for your lose. In 1990 I lost Sugar to the same thing. She was also 12 1/2 years old. I thought my world had ended. She was a wedding gift from my husband. I know what you are talking about when you say the look. We had to put her down. It thought someone had torn my heart out. So I wish there would be something I could say to help you get through this. Remember the good times. And to have a boxer for that long is surely a blessing. Take time to grieve. I will say a prayer for you.
