joint supplement

Hi wondering what you all think of joint supplement? Vet thinks it's a good
idea, but I respect your comments as well sometimes it seems the vets
are quick to med a dog and I've been reading some things that make me
wonder. Do any of you "Boxer owners" use joint supplements?

Dasuquin is the brand I have been confronted with would not my Canidae
dog food be ample for the nutrients for joint health?

Belle (11/12) has terrible hip arthritis. I have started her on an enteric coated adult aspirin and a glucosamine capsule once a day with food. This was recommended by a friend who operated a boxer rescue for years. It has only been a couple of weeks. Too early to tell what impact it is having.
