She just started with it yesterday. There was some grass in it. We haven't changed anything about her diet and we haven't fed here anything besides her dog food and treats.

Do you think it is from the grass?

what color was it? I have found that when boxers are on an empty stomach they tend to throw up bile.( which is a yellow color) boxers don't due well on empty stomachs. maybe try a treat before bedtime.

You might want to put her on a bland diet for a couple of days if she still has an upset belly. Could she have possibly gotten into anything? Poor Girl!!

Well, we figured out that is started the evening after she had been to the groomer. We feed her Sensible Choice kibble. With a little warm water in it and sometimes some brown rice. We have been feeding her that for weeks and she's been fine. We give her Old Mother Hubbard all natural treats. We do not deviate from this at all.

She is still having the loose stools it is dark brown in color. She is acting completely normal otherwise. You'd never know she was sick.

We have an appointment today at 12:45 to see the Vet. I will let you know what he says.

Thanks for the responses.

Thank you!!! We just got back. The vet examined her and said she seems to be fine. She may have an intestinal worm and the stress of being at the groomer aggrivated it and brought on the diarehha. (I think that's what he said) He said she is the healthiest sick dog he's seen today. She is bouncing around and playing as normal. He told us to give her a bland diet of ground beef or chicken and rice for a couple of days and see how she does. He also prescribed Metronidazole 500mg. 1 1/2 tab a day for 7 days. He said when she does have a solid stool that we should bring a sample to the office for him to test.

We will keep you posted. :)

Thanks for the vibes!

I'm glad to hear that things went well at the vets. That's good that Jersey is acting silly as ever. Hopefully the bland diet and meds will get her stool back to normal and a sample will let you know about the worms. We'll keep sending her positive vibes! Ty sends her a real sloppy smooch, too!

Well, it's been three days on the antibiotic and her stools seem to be getting thicker. They still look like melted chocolate ice cream though, but at least they aren't liquid squirting out.
