I just bought my first house about 6 months ago. I had no furniture when I moved in except for a few dressers and a bed. A friend of my moms was actually planning on taking that couch to the dump, so I gladly took it. The color is weird but I like how stuff can't go underneath it like you said... it's also very comfy. haha.
