Jaw Lock

We took Brando (8 months old) to the vet's today as he's had problems with his jaw. He's eating, drinking, playing with his toys and being his normal bouncy self, but when he yawns his jaw seems to lock. He's been able to get it back into position himself so far and the vet has said there's nothing broken. We've been given advice on what to do, which we're happy with, but we were wondering if anyone else has had this problem as the vet also told us this was quite un-common.

I believe my friend who had a mini pin had an experience with jaw lock before. I'm pretty sure it only happened once and it resolved itself.
Anyway I hope Brando is so lucky as the mini pin.

we have had this problem with our 14month old Chloe. We had xrays done, and there is really no major problems. She is able to close her jaw herself and it does not occur very frequently.
