I would also suggest before any "decisons" are made (if it comes to that) that you get several opinions. If you haven't already I would highly recommend seeing a cardiologist.

Keep us posted. :)

The latest

We brought Jackson home last Friday from the hospital of course he was very tired. Saturday was pretty rough he had a few stumbling episodes I can't really say fainting because they are more of a dizzy stumbling spell. We are still waiting for his holter test. However, Sunday was a complete turnaround he seemed to have a lot of energy and began eating again. I took him Monday to have his red blood count taken and it came back very low 15%. Our internist advised us to bring him in this morning. He was tested and had a red blood count of 19% with his white blood and platelets being fine. He has absolutely no sign of bleeding anywhere and has had his body scanned from head to toe and has even had chest x-rays. Nothing. He had a reticulote (spell) test that came back negative as well as a tictiter test and coombs test both negative. We have decided not to forgoe a bone marrow test for two reasons: with his weak condition we are afraid of taking a risk with the sedation , and that it may not give us a definitive answer. Our doctor is leaning away from leukemia because he is not showing any clinical signs. Therefore we have decided to start him on eurythopoiten (spell) hoping that it will stimulate the growth of red blood cells. If this does not work we may have to try a drug like prednisone. Thanks for all the support and we love to hear any comments. Right now he seems to be resting comfortably which is all we can ask. We go back next Wednesday for a follow up unless something else happens.

holter

We received the results from Jack'sholter test today. The test showed that he had a few periods of frequent arrythmia, so the doctor has prescribed him medication to go along with everything else the poor guy has been battling. He seems to be about the same he has had a few more stumbles but he seems happy to be with his people. He tried to play earlier today with our other boy Finnegan and made it for about a minute and then got dizzy and fell down. He got up wiggled his nub and took a nap. He's such a good boy.
