Hi, I'm Becky, we just got baby Jack yesterday! He is our 2nd boxer, a reverse brindle boy who is very sweet-natured. We had a fawn boy who died a few years ago and have been missing him ever since. We have 2 boys who are both crazy about him already....but our cocker spaniel is not so thrilled.... she is really my dog and of course she is jealous. I am trying to reassure her that I still love her too! Any advice on helping them get along would be appreciated. Jack wants to play with her, so if she would be nice, they could be good friends!

What does "kidney beans" mean?

Hi and welcome to BW! :) Congratulations on getting Jack! He sounds like a doll. :)

Kidney beaning is the thing they do when they wag so hard they turn themselves almost in half - I *think* that's the right way to describe it! :)

Welcome to BW! Will find alot of info here. I have a 10yr mutt(Sadie) and then we got Lucy(now 6 1/2 months). She didnt like her at first, she was jealous of her and didnt like to share with her. But after a couple of days she started to play alittle with her, now they get along good even share the bed together at times, but sometimes Lucy can be a little to much for her. Lucy want to play 24/7 where Sadie needs a break. Just give her some time.
