Rocky does this when he's excited too. When I have him in the neighbor's fenced back yard with their Cocker Spaniel and he's ready to come in, he's literally jumping higher that their four foot fence. It's never occured to him to jump over it though thankfully.

He'll also sometimes jump and catch a frisbee (soft one) that was meant to go well over his head for him to chase. He just comes running up with and I swear there's a sarcastic smirk on his face ;)

Not only does Buster do a lot of bouncing when he's playing but he also does a lot of jumping...and then there's the body slams! :)

Tyson does it when I get the leash out. The others don't. Since he is white, he looks like a huge Jack Russell too.

We call Ali "the bucking bronco", because when she's excited, she'll jump straight up in the air and kick either her back or front legs out! It's so funny!

My Alize will get so excited when people come in the front door, that she'll jump over the back of my couch and land on the cushions. I'm still trying to work with her to not do it, but I don't have lots of visitors most of the time, so it's hard to get her to stop since I can't do it with any consistency. It's absolutely hysterical tho, especially to people who've never seen her do it. They're completely amazed that she can jump that high. Makes me very happy I have a privacy fence out back. LOL

It truly is amazing how much height they get. Hurricane will bounce straight up in the air if he really wants out and we are not putting our shoes or coats on fast enough for him. He will jump straight up and down at the door until we put his leash on to take him out (we finally managed to train him that leash on means good behavior or else)

Yep, Bailey has springs for legs, too. The first time I really noticed it, she had a squirrel "trapped" on the deck railing. It was running back and forth and she was bouncing up from the ground so that her head cleared the deck floor - about 4 feet off the ground at that point. (The squirrel finally jumped to a nearby tree then made its escape.) She has no idea that she could clear our 4' fence if she really tried - thank goodness!
