on kennel cough. Austin was diagnosed while I was out of town for the holidays. He was with his skin grandparents. He has finished his 10 cycle of clavamox and cough suppressants. He is still coughing up flem and coughing through the night. I know it will be a week or so until he gets 100% better. Just wanted to know your opinion on whether i should take him back to the vet for other meds. or should i take my own route of suggestions from here and go with robitussin and Vit. C tablets, which he has been taking... Please help i feel soo badly for him!
Feel free to change this post to an alternate forum if needed... i just wanted to get a response and knew that most BW members were here.. thanks

I wouldn't take him again unless you just like spending money:) Kennel cough will go away on it's own, although never quickly enough. Sam had it last year, and it was almost a month before he finally got over it. KC actually sounds worse than it is...so relax a little:) It will get better, I promise!
