It's so hard to say goodbye

My deepest sympathies at this difficult time. I don't think we ever fully get over a loss such as this. I know two years later, I still cry when I think of my cat whom I had to put down after 20 years with me. It is always painful. But I did get not one but two new friends, my boxer girls, who have filled my life with so much joy and happiness, I couldn't be more pleased. I'll never forget Andora nor will my new girls ever replace her in my heart, but I have plenty of room in my heart for sharing and loving my boxer girls too.

Grieve as much as you need to, but do consider another dog. I think it may help you through the toughest of times.
