It's a boxer thing!!

Last night while walking we had 5 teenage boys (hanging out in their garage) come running out to ask if they could pet Hammer. I found it amusing because these boys were the type that look like they hate everything. Dressed in black, purple/blue/green hair, several piercings (not that I have anything against individuality) looking like they were the toughest teens on the block. Well they all just melted when Hammer started "beaning" for them. The ooohed and aaaahed for five or ten minutes. It was so cute watching them! Some tough guys they turned out to be! I bet my neighbors Sharpei doesn't get the tough guys out of their garage!! :D

A few years ago I went across to Melbourne for a few days. Whilst walking along the beach front, (it was the middle of winter July, freezing and blowing a gale). Well there was a man walking a lovely boxer whose name was Paws. I just had to have my photo taken with him. Paws not the man!!
Boxers make us do things we wouldn't normally dream of!

Today the new furnace is being finished on the insall and the plubmer is moving the water heater to bring me up to code. Every single person working on my house (5 of them) have had to stop at least once to talk to Jedi, touch him and make comments. 1 is a long time boxer owner the rest talked about other dogs if they didn't have a boxer story. He is my little ambassador today. He is listening to all the banging and drilling very nicely. Now and then he hears them talking thru the vent and runs over to it and stares, hoping to see the people, it is funny.

Well i have never had anyone stop to meet Tobee, but I always stop and look at other people's boxers. I have yet to have the courage to approach them. I always feel that they will think i am crazy!!!!!

I guess they should understand, though. They have a boxer too.:p

Scooby (10 week old male fawn) got the same attention from strangers and he loved it. He would go to anyone. Unfortunatly that was not a good thing, that is how he was stolen.

Maya also receives the same attention, but is more weary about strangers We always receive complements on Maya and what a good puppy she is... We are very proud of her
