It snowed and ABBYs gone wild.

Last night it snowed here. It was more like a combination of wet drizzle and snow, but there were enough flakes to lightly cover the ground. And ABBY simply went nuts over it. I opened the back door to look outside and out she out. I guess she could sense it wasn't just rain because she ran out in the yard and started doing Boxer burns and all kinds of crazy things. I couldn't get her attention long enough to get her back in the house. I just shut the door and left her outside to enjoy herself and after about fifteen minutes she started banging on the door screen. I got up to let her back in and she was so tired from whatever she had been doing that she went straight to the bed room and crashed. This morning when we got up all signs of the snow were gone and the sun was shining brightly. Oh well, just another normal day here in paradise.

Ha. We're in Texas too (Austin) and although it didn't snow it got cold enough and wet enough the ground was frozen mush. Our pups were at daycare and when I picked them up last night they had mud CAKED all over them. It took two baths to get it all off. Guess they just loved that blast of cold weather! :D

I didn't think it snowed in Texas and Georgia. I guess you guys don't get very much. Ali goes wild over the snow and we get lots of it. None yet. Thank Goodness. Usually by mid January it's down to stay and we start getting some big storms. I'm not looking forward to it. Ali loves to jump into the snow drifts and she doesn't mind running on the snow trails in the winter. It's like a whole new world to her. Too bad I don't share her opinion.

If we get snow, it shuts the state down. 75% of the people think they can drive on ice and snow like it is dry pavement. last year we got 2 in snow and during the morning drive there were over 100 accidents. LOL

I spent 6 yrs in Alaska and snow and cold was just part of life.

Too funny. We had a little bit of snow last week and Lance lost his mind. It was like a perpetual sno-cone on our walk. There's a big winter mess coming to Chicago today. I'm sure he'll be amazed. It's his first winter. I was wondering how he'd be since he was such a priss with rain when he was really little. Guess not any more :D

I spoke too soon!! We've had a snow storm on Sunday and today more snow. Ms. Ali is in snowman heaven. Just loves it. Wish I had her energy!!

We had the first snow this week!! Laila was so funny!! she was afraid to put her paws down at first then when she gained some confidence she licked her way over the deck to the steps and down into the yard...she decided it was fun after all and started her marathon run around the yard, slipping and sliding all the way... aren't they so funny???

We're getting snow right now in the suburbs of Chicago and I can't wait to see how Rolen acts the next time he has to go outside! He's snoozing right now, so I'll just have to wait and see!
