It may sound like a silly question...

but is it okay to let your dog eat ice cubes? I recently started giving my 10 month old boxer Holly ice cubes in her water and she just LOVES them. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to mess her teeth up if I let her chomp on them.

Ice cubes are perfectly fine. A lot of people even freeze chicken broth for their pups.

My pups love ice cubes, chasing them around the floor or dunking their head in their pool to try to catch them. Frozen kongs are a good solution for a hot day as well.

Kona LOVES ice cubes too. We're pretty sure she is just a stomach on legs When we give her ice cubes she thinks it's food... he he he. Kilby on the other hand is all to aware that they are nothing but frozen water and is happy to let them melt away

My two love the treat of ice cubes...it's so funny to see them batting them around the kitchen trying to catch them!!
I actually started to use them when Laila was a puppy, she isn't a big drinker and I use to give them to her when it was hot and I wanted her to drink

spanky loves them we cant even open the freezer without him running over. plus he has urate stones so the extra water is great for him.

Aniah is an ice cube fiend as well. She just loves them. She has run into so many walls chasing them around the house. Cody as well knows they are only water and doesn't get too excited. But when she is having a extra special good time he will come over and play with her too.

On hot days I add ice cubes to their outside water bowl. It's hysterical to watch Rudy bob for the ice cubes! She dunks her entire snout in the water. Duke wants nothing to do with those ice cubes - he perfers to chase them around the floor.
