It finally happened to me today!

When I took Sandy outside this afternoon, I man who was visiting my neighbor came charging towards us as soon as he saw her. His 1st words to me were "Do you have papers on her?" Huh I thought. But I answered well sort of, she came with papers but we never bothered to have them transferred into our name since we have no plans to breed her. His face fell, then he cursed & said, "I've been looking for a bitch to breed my male with. Why the hell do people like you buy a dog your not gonna breed?" I was stunned, thought briefly about trying to enlighten him but quickly figured out it wasn't going to do any good so I just said "We do it to protect our babies from idiots like you" and brought her back in the house. This happened hours ago but I'm still steaming!!!!!

Some people only get their boxers, or any breed as far as that goes, to breed and sees them as a money pit, they can't even comprehend the fact that they make excellent companions and should be part of the family, that is sad when a boxer baby falls into the hands of someone like this. A dog's life is only as good as the owner makes it.
