it breaks my heart, with all the hate in the dog community

She is a beautiful girl! Don't let ignorant people ruin your day with Daisy....not worth it. Daisy has the sweetest face, if I saw her, I'd want to keep her for myself. :)

Unfortunately, there will always be people that don't like your breed of choice (or breed mix). I just smile, keep my head high, and am thankful that we put so much effort into getting Johann well trained and obedient. It's so rewarding (in a childish way, I admit it), when Johann is heeling and listening to me...while someone lecturing me about pit bulls and boxers has a lab/golden/mutt that is dragging them around and being obnoxious.

Daisy has a similar face to my Roxie girl :) She is a beautiful puppy. Don't let that man's ignorance upset you. I know you will mold Daisy into a perfectly behaved dog, and show people just how amazing a pit can be.

I don't like the prejudice that people have for dogs. It's the awful owners who mold these loving dogs into what they are...not the dog breed.

Having an APBT myself, I feel you on this one. We live on a farm and sell eggs/chickens, etc. and we've had people see my Bellatrix and comment on how gorgeous she is, only to back away like I have a tiger shark when I tell them her breed :( It's absolutely infuriating, but I've learned to try to educate the people that make rude comments. On the other hand, there are a few people (mainly older people, I've noticed) that see her and get down in the grass playing with her  those are the people that make my day

My uncle used to have a pit bull, Brandie, and from what I can remember she was the sweetest dog you'd ever meet! I was probably around 10 when he had her and she played with all of us without so much as a scratch! My uncle was forced to have her put down because the laws changed and she was a restricted breed :( So sad that people stereotype these poor animals

Wow, people are so ignorant. In the neighborhood I live in there are 3 APBTs, a 7 week old, a 7 month old and one that is several years old. All 3 of them are super friendly. In fact the one that lives behind us broke her leash and I went outside to grill out and there she was standing on my porche looking at me and just panting away. My wife and I petted her for a bit before I grabbed what was left of her leash and took her back home(she is the one that is several years old). I could tell she was a good dog because she was very friendly and had been leash trained. We both took off running to her house and every so often she would look over her shoulder at me.

I hate the bad rep they have. I love our neighborhood pits :p.
