Is Yours a Licky Loo Too?

Nestle is a licky-loo. Faces, feet, arms, hair... on the weekends,
we wake to a wetnose and a tongue on the face.

Even my poor 87 yr old grandma coverd in Nestle Smooches.

Crash loves to give everybody and everything his puppy kisses. If he can't get close enough to what he wants to kiss he lays down and gives long distance kisses. It doesn't matter to him if he can reach his target or not. As long as we know he's trying to give us some love he's a happy boy.

Layla loves to give kisses but is not obsessed with it. I love her kisses and ask for them often. She has to give you lots of kisses when you come home followed by a conversation of woo woo's. When she is really happy to kiss you, (if you talk to her real sweetly) she give you the hardest kisses. She really pushes down while kisses! Its too cute. But shes not obsessed with licking hands, clothes, feet, etc.

My Brandy(boxer) isn't much of a licker unless you have lotion on your skin.. and it's hard to keep her off but my Chow (Sophie) licks me like there's no tomorrow. Sometimes I have to push the poor baby away she just tends to get carried away.

Charlie Paper is the same way. I'll put lotion on my hands, or legs, and it's almost like its magnetic to him. He'll come over right away and lick you until you've got slobber all over! My black lab mix at my parents house is the licker of the family. She'll just sit there and lick you for hours if you let her. Good thing she's not so drooly and slobbery.

Mischka loves to give kisses but like most of you said, she doesn't understand that not everybody likes kisses. I personally kiss her all day long and before I take a shower I will let her have a good lick. I guess that is why she thinks its ok to kiss everyone but I know several people who don't like it. I have to admitt it was more attractive when she had puppy breath.

Our 12 week old boxer LOVES to lick.
If you go anywhere near him out comes the tounge and it's lick, lick, lick.
Drives the whole family nuts and we dont know how or if you can stop it.
Now we dont mind a kiss or two from our lil guy but not a darn shower.

My boy Dutch is a licker. When he gets nervous he licks the air non stop to the point he is frothy.

Yeah, Diesel believes he came with a tongue for a reason - to use it! He had a blast with my sister's kids over Christmas - they thought it was funny to let him lick them constantly...was getting a little gross for my liking.

But it's too bad - my sister is very allergic to dogs, so he kept trying to lick her and she would break out in these huge welts even from one little kiss! She ended up having to leave her gloves on when she was around him - which wasn't much since she's only able to be around him for about an hour before she starts having trouble breathing. I was working on teaching him "no kiss" before we went to see them, and it kind of helped - but he was confused why he couldn't ever kiss that one lady!

Licking

Beau only licks if someone is showing him affection. It can get kind of gross because his tongue seems kind of slimy sometimes. I just tell him "ick, no licking" and hug him. He usually sits down and lays his head in my lap.
