Is your Boxer watching TV?

I'm really pathetic!

Beasley does watch TV - or at least he looks at the screen and responds to sounds and movement. I like to make sure he's a well-rounded little guy and leave a different channel on for him every day when I go to work. Usually I put on SportsCenter on Mondays so he can catch up on all the games we missed and MNF preview shows. The rest of the week I rotate from A&E, Discovery, PBS, History Channel, and sometimes SpeedVision. I used to have Animal Planet in the regular rotation but I hate for him to watch Animal COPS without mommy's supervision. I just don't know that I want Beasley to see those poor animals who are being abused, beaten, fighting, and have to be picked up by the ASPCA in order to be safe. I know this is pathetic but at least when we watch Animal Planet together, I can give him a big hug and tell him that he will NEVER end up like those poor dogs. lovicon

Is it obvious that I don't have any skin kids??? :LOL:

I think your a great Boxer mom! Setting a good example for the rest of us. It's sweet that you want to protect him from the violence on TV. :)

Scout is 3 months and watches some commercials. She did not like the Target ad that came on last night. She tilted and twisted her head and then started barking at it. It was too funny. The rest of us agreed that it was not the best commercial. She has watched other things too, but last night was the best reaction we have gotten from her.

We have the Seabiscuit DVD maybe I should play it for her.
