Is your boxer rough with your other dogs?

We also have a boxer and a boston terrier. When Rocky is too rough with Mia, she gives as good as she gets! She has a loud fierce growl she gives and then she simply trot away leaving Rocky all alone and he does not like to be alone, so he goes to her more gently and they go at it again. They do this so many times a day I lose count! Before Bluto went to the bridge in March of this year Rocky seemed to know he was an old guy and was very sweet and gentle with him. On the rare occasions it gets too rough I invite them on the couch with me and we all snooze!

Storms best bud is Cooper who is much smaller. They play rough but Cooper has tricks he pulls out. For example, biting her tongue! or reaching through and grabbing her opposite leg and dropping her to the ground! Its such a laugh. Cooper will yelp sometimes too but I think its more a warning to Storm that she is getting to rough rather than he is hurt. If you look in my gallary you will see the pics of them playing - and the pic of Storm with Cooper pinned to the ground! We also use the command 'play nice' which applies to both of them!

The pic of Storm on top of Cooper (pinning him) looks just like what Keno does to Daisy!!!And Daisy gets Keno back by walking underneath him and biting at his legs or at the flappy loose skin on him (that he has yet to grow into..) Daisy is the alpha in our house so she can take what Keno dishes out pretty well, but he's still got a lot of growing to do and that's what has me a little worried!
BTW, Storm is absolutely adorable

I have noticed that when either one of them aren't feeling well they seem to know to leave the other alone or take it easy ! Daisy had a rough spaying (she had an infected uterus) about three months ago so she really had to take it easy for about a week after she was home..I was so worried that Keno would hurt her (accidentally ofcourse) but he seem to know that she didn't feel up to playing and he left her alone...and then not long ago Keno hurt his leg and had to take it easy for a few days..it was sad tho because Daisy would burn off energy by running all around the house at full throttle and Keno could only watch...you could see it in his eyes that he was sad that he couldn't join in !!

Well dh called the pet store today and they said that they sold the boxer last night...so I'm sure those people must have bought her...I feel better now that I know she's not there anymore...And I told dh that if our son ever needs to go there to get his snake a pinky that I am NOT going with them & if they see a boxer there I don't want to know about it!!
