Toni is a terribkle treat snob. I keep buying treats and she keeps being picky. I threaten sometimes to just stop buying her treats. Yeah right, like that could happen. I bought Three Dog Bakery treats and some she liked and others she spit out and walked away from. She doesn't seem to like any of the treats shaped like bones. She lieks the ones shaped like cookies though. Go figure.

Roxi will usually eat any treat I give to her but with some cookies she will take it and play with it for about 10 minutes then slowly pick away at it and play with it some more and by the time she is done with it and it has been thrown in the air about a gazillion times. I have it all over the house...

I love to watch her with it though!!

Too funny - I thought it was just my Mason, I didn't realize it was breed-specific! Masondoes the whole sniff, try it, spit it out routine all the time! Sometimes, if it is a hard cookie and I break it into smaller pieces, he'll take it, but mostly not! It's so embarassing at the pet store when people ask if they can give Mason a treat and I always say, sure, but he may not take it. Then he sniffs, tastes and spits it on the floor at their feet! They always look offended!! Thankfully our local pet store knows him well enough to always have some liver treats or jerky to offer!

I do have to add though, that he loves tortilla chips!!

If they don't smell like "people food" Sirus doesn't want it. His favorite is the turkey+sweet potato+cranberry by a brand called Luv-A-Bone, a natural, holistic, human-grade treat...so that way he thinks he's getting "people food", and I guess in some sense...he is...without actually giving him "people food".
And you should smell these things...they smell yummy!

No, Ginger is not a treat snob at all. She will eat any treat that comes her way, has never turned one down:)

George is such a snob. At the bank they gave him a milk bone  he put it in his mouth and spit it back out. The babies are used to homemade treats only so you can imagine how yucky a milk bone would be

Rocky will eat anything! Even tortilla chips (he loves to lick the salt off of them first!). I try to give him homemade or healthy treats, but even so he will not discrimate against any food. Mia the boston on the other hand is a total treat snob, but will take a treat she does not like just to spite Rocky! She won't eat it, just carries it around until Rocky makes her give it up!

Venus will eat absolutely anything in sight. And she doesn't like to chew her treats. She just swallows everything whole. Now Apollo on the other hand, if I even dare to try and give him a doggy biscuit he will sniff it and then just look at me as if to say"Are you serious mom, you really expect me to eat that. Now there was one kind of biscuit he would eat. He had gotten it from my sister-in-law for christmas. It was a gift box from targret by those people that make THE DOG or whatever it is(the dogs with the really big heads) and there was an apples and cinnamon won that he loved. But that's it. We go thorugh some drive thrus like the pharmacy or the bank and they are always trying to give apollo some biscuits and he just turns his head away from them.
